Please remember to bring your completed Pledge Cards to Church on either Saturday, November 22nd or Sunday, November 23rd. Thank you. Thanksgiving Food Drive: The holidays are fast approaching and while they bring great anticipation to some, for others they may bring the anxiety of "Will we have enough to eat?" Let's do what we do best: offer our gifts to help ensure there is food for our less fortunate neighbors on Thanksgiving Day and the days beyond. Let's make it truly a F.E.A.S.T.! The trailer that St. Alfred's has donated to FEAST will be onsite from October 31st to November 10th but will only be open to us the weekends of November 1st & 2nd, and 8th & 9th. Note that although this is a Thanksgiving event, they have asked that we also include staples they need every day, such as pasta, peanut butter, soup, and cereal. Thank you for continuing to support F.E.A.S.T. Oldsmar Cares - Christmas Toy Drive Oldsmar Cares Christmas Toy Drive is collecting toys/gifts for children and teens. We have been asked to focus on gifts for preteens and teens 11- to 16-year-olds. Some suggestions for this age group are as follows: arts and crafts supplies, science-related activities, books for young people, make-up, nail polish; gift cards to stores such as Target or Walmart (please put card’s value on gift card). A collection box will be in the Narthex November 29th and 30th and December 6th and 7th. Book Club: Please join us for our next Book Club gathering on December 3rd at 10:00 a.m., in our Parish Library (Building D). THE BOOK CLUB'S READING SCHEDULE FOR 2025/2026:

Ronald McDonald House Charities: As part of our Outreach Program, we go to the Ronald McDonald House in Tampa once a quarter to make dinner for the residents staying there while their children are receiving care at nearby hospitals. We will be going again on Sunday, November 23rd, to prepare dinner from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for about 25-30 people. All cooking must be done at the house, and we provide all the ingredients. The carpool will leave the church at 3:00 p.m. We are limited to 6 people, so if you would like to participate, please contact Dorothy Stevens at 207-286-7386 to see if there is an opening. Clothing Shed: A shed has been placed in our parking lot to collect used clothing for charitable organizations. St. Alfred's will earn funds based on the number of pounds of clothes collected. Spread the word to your friends and neighbors. St. Alfred's Tech Table: Having trouble using your phone? GriefShare Support Group: Are you grieving a loss of a loved one? Find hope and healing after the death of a loved one by joining us every Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Alfred's Episcopal Church, Building D, in the Parish Library.
