We invite you to watch our 2026 Lenten Invitation video and enter this sacred season with intention and openness to God’s transforming grace. As a diocesan community, we are committed to walking this journey together, encouraging one another in prayer, repentance, generosity, and hope. In addition, we warmly invite you to join us every Sunday in Lent at 8:00 p.m. for the Office of Compline, a quiet and contemplative service of nighttime prayer. Compline offers a sacred pause at the close of the day, a time to rest in God’s mercy and peace. Music by Women Composers: "Unsung Heroines: The Undaunted Courage of Women Composers" Wednesday, March 11th 2:00 p.m. @ New Port Richey Library, 5939 Main Street, New Port Richey, FL. Although much less so now, there had been for centuries a widespread belief that musical composition was beyond the purview and capabilities of women. The immensely creative and prolific output of women composers had been glaringly ignored or forgotten, but the 20th and 21st centuries continue to provide a burgeoning and fertile atmosphere for women to compose and publish music, and for it to be performed regularly and enthusiastically in all genres including symphonies, operas, and chamber music. Theresa Villani - Cello, and Kevin Johnson - Piano, will present a program of works by Fanny Mendelssohn, Amy Cheney Beach, Luise Adolpha LeBeau, Rebecca Clarke, Nadia Boulanger, Natalia Timofeyeva, Angela Morley, and Emma Lou Diemer. Theresa will also play two unaccompanied cello works by composers Sue Dellinger and Judith Weir. Lenten Choral Evensong with Theresa Villani on Cello: Please join us on Sunday, March 15th @ 4:00 p.m. at St. Alfred's Episcopal Church, for our Lenten Choral Evensong with Theresa Villani on Cello and directed by Kevin Johnson.
