Acolytes are scheduled each month on a rotating basis. New teenage or adult Acolytes are always welcome, and training is provided. Altar Guild
The mission of the Altar Guild is to work closely with the priest to create a spiritual and reverent setting for the Holy Eucharist. The Guild works behind the scenes by preparing the bread and wine, polishing all sacred vessels, and caring for hangings, linens and vestments. After each service they take care of the consecrated wine and host, cleanse all vessels and see that the sacristy is neat and clean and ready for the next service. No longer a ministry only of women, the Altar Guild also welcomes men who are interested in preparing for sacramental worship. New members are always welcome, and we offer on-the-job training.
