Sunday, March 23rd at 4:00 p.m. - Evensong 
        The service will be sung by St. Alfred’s Parish Choir of Adults under the direction of Kevin Johnson, Organist and Choirmaster. This service is offered to enrich the observance of the Lenten season. It has been sung daily since the 16th century in cathedrals, collegiate chapels and parish churches around the world. Evensong is a uniquely Anglican service which includes the reading of holy scripture and the chanting of psalms, canticles and prayers by the choir and hymns sung by the congregation. The music for the service will include two anthems written by contemporary American composers. All are welcome; a free will offering will be received for the benefit of the music program.
