Music at St. Alfred'sMusic is an important component of Episcopal liturgy. Throughout St. Alfred’s Church’s history, music has held a vital role in the life and liturgy of the Parish. It is our aim to provide choral and instrumental music that supports the liturgy with sincerity and integrity.
The legacy of music and the arts at St. Alfred’s began with the vision of David R. Moores, the Second Rector of the Parish. He was not only a charismatic Priest in the Episcopal Church, but also an accomplished pianist and organist. He was a gifted organist who was active in the American Guild of Organists. |
